Friday 10: The Greatest Adventure

Let go of the moment that life makes you hold.

An empty subway platform at Shimashi station in Tokyo; tile floor curves slightly to the right. In the distance you can see a vending machine. Many support pillars have signs saying "stop" on them, which emergency stop buttons.
Who sits by the window will one day see rain.

Nine of ten lyrics were guessed for our first guest-hosted Friday 10! The remaining lyric was by the Irish rap group Kneecap. You may ask yourself: does Irish work well in rap? Yes. Yes, it most certainly does. They’re good, I just hope the group takes a hint from Rage Against the Machine and sticks to music, leaves the politics to the politicians[^*].*

*That’s a joke.

It is bitterly cold, I haven’t had enough coffee, and my cats are about to eat my face for breakfast. So I guess we should get on with it.
