Friday 10 - Handful of senators don’t pass legislation

Over and over and over again, my friend

Aircraft maintenance crews at NASA‘s Armstrong Flight Research Center prepare the remotely-piloted Ikhana aircraft for a test flight of Ikhana. The test flight was performed to validate key technologies and operations necessary for FAA’s approval to fly the aircraft in the National Airspace System June 12, 2018, without a safety chase aircraft.

Proven wrong! Last week I said I didn’t expect too many answers, but y’all identified eight of ten. My favorite video out of the set was Beck’s super-relaxed live performance of “Where It’s At.” I’ve watched that video multiple times now.

This week, well — I’m not going to underestimate you guys. There are a few total gimmes here, and a few that are a bit more difficult. All the songs have been on my mind over the last week for reasons I am sure I don’t have to explain to anyone. Let’s not call it a theme, let’s just call it living in the middle of all of … this.

Some rules still apply in this world

It’s good to have something firm to hold onto. Here’s three:

  1. Post your guesses in the comments. Provide both the artist and the title. If you guess correctly in your own head, no one knows.
  2. No fair searching. That’s totally cheating, but you’re cheating no one but yourself. And the rest of us. Actually, you’re just a cheat.
  3. Covers are accepted if I can find them. If it’s Tina Turner (one of these this week was covered by Tina Turner) I probably got it. If it’s your baby brother’s middle school band, probably not. Unless they got a major recording contract.

Update: Disappointed there’s not more? Glen and Fred also have games up. Check them out!
