Friday 10: Spread your tiny wings and fly away

…and take the snow back with you where it came from on that day

A small bird, grey on the top with a white belly, sits on a branch; a small pile of snow is at its feet.
The photographer identifies this as a "dark-eyed junco," a north american sparrow that likes to summer in the artic.

We had a little bit of a lull there in the middle of last week but eventually eight of ten lyrics were identified. The two remaining ones were also the two wrap songs, the first by Vanilla Ice and the second by Ice Cube. Do go back and watch some of the videos… particularly the one for Ice Ice Baby.

There was an obvious theme, wasn’t there?

Unusually frozen weather for this time of year continues, but my patience for building themed lyric sets has run out. I expect this one to be a bit harder than last week’s. At least one song is there because I feel like it’s criminally unknown. I also suspect #3 is one of those that people will say “I can hear the song in my head, but I can’t guess who or what.” A common problem with old tunes kept alive by movies.

Good luck guessing in the comments, then speak to me of flowers that will bloom again in spring.

After that, try Glen’s!
