Grew up somewhere far away

After a one-week hiatus I’m back with another ten lyrics for you to guess. The answers from two weeks ago are now finally up. We had seven of ten guessed then. The three not guessed were:

Last week I was on vacation in the Outer Banks. We almost always go out-of-season, but this time it was just barely; the crowds were assembling on the run-up to memorial day weekend. I’m always glad to go, but I’m always glad to come back to the mountains where it’s less flat.
