All I see is a young old man with only a dream

Can’t look in her eyes, she’s out of my league

A bright red cardinal sits on a branch of a sakura tree.
She’s like the wind through my tree.

Last week we again had all ten songs guessed, with Frodis Caper identifying seven. Which is very impressive! But also demonstrates a problem I’ve been hearing about.

I’ve heard… well, not precisely complaints. But frustration over the fact that some people find the bulk of the lyrics identified before they get a chance to take a look. That’s the nature of the game being played in blog post comments. I’m toying with changing the format to secret answers so everyone has a chance.

This is quite a bit more complicated than just a blog post and will require an account to play. But more people potentially have a shot. Let me know what you think of the idea in the comments…

Along with your guesses for this week’s game.

The rules

  1. Put the song title and artist in the comments below. I do accept anonymous comments.
  2. I’ll accept cover artists as well.
  3. But don’t go looking up the lyrics before guessing. That’s cheating.
