Wheel turning around and ’round
You find you’re back in Vegas with a handle in your hand.

/ Pixabay Content License Last week we hit 50% — five of ten identified. I know everyone has heard “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress” because it’s used in 45% of movie makeover montages (I asked ChatGPT). On the other hand, the lyrics are almost incomprehensible as sung, which is a shame because the song has more double entendres per minute than a Carry On film.
I am surprised, however, that no one got the Prince song. I thought that lyric was a dead giveaway. The good news is you have another chance today!
The rules:
- No searchin’.
- I need both artist and title.
- Cover versions are acceptable assuming I can find them.
Actually, this week we have one traditional song — and one where the “cover” was released before the original, so “original artist” would be hard to figure out anyway.
Good luck! Remember: your black cards can make you money.
